I struggle with eating too close to bedtime. It's hard to be finished eating by 5:30pm when my Mrs knocks off at 5pm and we like to cook and eat together as a family. I need to try the mouth tape, I've been too scared, haha.
I felt really weird at first, but now I love it and confident I'll keep doing it for the long haul.
Yeah that's tricky. I think main issue is when people have dinner as their main meal and eat heaps right before bed. I'm sleeping so much better now I eat more during the day and often skip dinner
Yeah I’ve gotta stop avoiding it and give it a go.
Yeah, there’s often nights where I eat dinner just because it’s that time of day and not because I’m hungry. During the day I usually don’t eat unless I’m hungry.
Just tradition, I suppose. It's the reason why we all come together at the end of the day. Talk about what happened and fill each other in on what's gone on, share our plans for the following day etc.
Of course I can, and I don't reckon I eat more than I need. Just on the odd occasion could probably skip it and not be bothered by it. We really don't eat big dinners anymore. But i think it's a bit of a custom in Australian families.

Why do you only eat during the day when you're hungry, but eat at night even if you aren't?

You can’t you catch up without eating more than you need?
